In 2019 we worked with the Salvation Army to develop a new national alcohol and other drug model of care. In 2022 we again partnered with the Salvation Army Victoria’s workforce development team to enhance foundational and specialist skills across the national Salvation Army workforce in line with the model of care.

Drawing on the latest evidence we developed 5 eLearning modules to give staff the foundational skills to deliver effective alcohol and other drug treatment. We also developed a bespoke comprehensive training program on trauma informed practice and delivered training to equip staff with integral skills and knowledge to deliver effective trauma informed care.
