Improve your skills and knowledge in working with people who use alcohol and other drugs

This new full day workshop is designed specifically for non-specialist workers who may encounter in their work individuals who use substances. We cover essential knowledge on alcohol and other drugs, understanding the alcohol and other drug treatment sector and how to best refer.

Suitable for workers in a variety of sectors including health, welfare, housing, justice, child protection and education, we will cover practical strategies to engage compassionately and effectively, how to have conversations about alcohol and other drug use, and how to offer support within your role.
