Workshops for health practitioners
We can customise any of our existing workshops for your organisation or sector and codesign entirely new bespoke workshops to meet the needs of your workforce. We work closely with you to identify learning needs and requirements and develop a plan for your team. Our workshops are designed to improve knowledge, skills, and confidence and are tailored to specific needs, participants, and contexts. Our workshops can be delivered in person, online, or through eLearning modules.
Our current frontline practice experience means we know how to teach and what to teach to take clinical delivery to the next level and see better outcomes for your clients.
We provide enough theory for a solid understanding of the ‘why’ but with a practical focus on the ‘how’.
Enhancing program delivery
We provide specialised training to improve the skills and confidence of staff delivering your programs. We work with you to increase staff understanding of how theory and your model of care underpin your program and enhance staff program delivery skills.
We run train the trainer and group facilitation workshops to enhance your organisation's workforce development capacity.
Case Study: AADANT
Multi-level training program
We designed a multi-level training program for the Association of Alcohol and other Drug Agencies Northern Territory. We facilitated refresher and enhancement training in alcohol and other drug specific counselling skills for more experienced staff, and training in motivational interviewing and brief interventions for new and less experienced staff. We also worked with a select group of senior staff to increase their supervisory skills and knowledge.
